am incredibly grateful for the support and expertise I received from Courtney at Nourishing New York throughout my journey healing from an eating disorder. For most of my life, I’ve struggled with eating: restriction, bingeing, fear, judgment, self-sabotage, and shame. Madi has given me a safe space where I feel seen, heard, understood, and supported. Our sessions are free of judgement. She recognizes how I use humor to cope, allowing me to express and process emotions in the way that feels most natural to me. Madi is helping me reconnect with my body and better understand what it needs. Together we create a weekly plan that’s tailored to my specific needs and goals. She also checks in on my mental and emotional well-being – not just around food, but in all areas of life – and encourages me to practice patience, compassion, and gentleness with myself. Thanks to Madi, I am beginning to build a healthier relationship not only with food, but also with myself.
