What is the length of sessions?
Initial sessions typically last around 1 hour, while follow ups are around 45 minutes.
Do you offer virtual sessions?
Yes, we offer virtual sessions via Zoom.
Do you offer in-person sessions? Where?
We offer in-house counseling in our NYC and Watertown locations.
Are Nourishing NY dietitians and nutritions licensed?
Yes. All Nourishing NY dietitians and nutritionists are licensed in the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Texas, Virginia
What insurances do you accept?

What is the cost of nutrition counseling sessions out of pocket?
Fees per session depend on the dietitian you will be seeing. These fees can be discussed upon inquiry.
How often would we meet?
Because our nutrition services are individualized, we tailor it to your specific needs. This can range from once a month to multiple times per week, typically averaging once per week.
Do you collaborate with other treatment providers?
Yes, we commonly work on treatment teams and are regularly in communication with therapists, Psychiatrists, doctors, etc.
What ages do you work with?
We see ages 13+. For anyone younger, we determine on a case by case basis.
Do you only work with individuals that have diagnosed eating disorders?
No, we work with a range of clients that are seeking treatment for not just eating disorders, but for overall bettering of their relationship with food and body. We also accommodate individuals with a variety of medical conditions, using nutrition through a weight-inclusive lens and we are HAES ® aligned.
