A lot of people think you can spot an eating disorder by someone’s weight, physical features, or their eating behaviors. But you actually cannot see an eating disorder. You see, because we have our own unique struggles, eating disorders exist on a spectrum…but no matter where you fall on it, they are all damaging to your mind, body, and soul.
Eating disorders can affect you no matter what you look like, how much money you have, or how successful you are. And no matter your identity or the depth of your disorder, you deserve accessible and affordable care.

This principle essentially means that we celebrate body diversity and we honor differences in size, age, race, ethnicity, gender, and other human attributes. We believe in challenging cultural assumptions and placing value on body knowledge and lived experiences.
HAES encompasses compassionate self-care and helps you find joy in moving your body and being physically active. Through a HAES approach, we teach eating in a flexible manner that values pleasure and honors internal cues of hunger and appetite while also respecting societal conditions. It is intended to lessen the cultural obsession with weight loss and thinness. You deserve respectful care and we are committed to ensuring you receive it.
We don’t focus on weight loss
Before you get confused, let us explain. We believe focusing on weight alone does not change your life for the better. As a weight-neutral practice, our focus is on real body image and teaching you to be nutrition focused, which is the heart of a healthy lifestyle. Each of our bodies have a weight it performs best at. When we are nutrition focused and have inner peace, we will naturally attain that weight while being our most intuitive selves.
While we will never prescribe weight loss, we will focus on improving your nutrition so you feel your absolute best.
Total Care
We believe you deserve help every step of the way to have a successful recovery. Most eating disorders and disordered eating coexist with other mental and physical health issues.. Because of this, we offer collaboration with multiple specialists such as psychiatrists, therapists, dietitians, and medical doctors to ensure you receive total care through your recovery. Because all aspects are important in your healing, we will always refer out to incredible eating disorder informed/HAES providers when needed.
Holistic Care
The largest aspect of an eating disorder comes from within. Deeply rooted beliefs and many emotional webs accelerate an eating disorder. But a beautiful side to that is that we truly believe we have the power to heal ourselves from the inside out. Our focus is on your whole body and soul, not just the food choices you make..it is so much deeper than your food choices.
